| Discovering a New Land (새로운 땅을 개척하는 것) Imagine you have just discovered a new land. You are the first human to ever see it or be there. (당신이 새로운 땅을 찾아냈다고 상상해 보세요. 당신이 그곳을 보고 거기에 도착한 최초의 인물입니다.) What will you name this new land? ( 이 땅의 이름을 무엇이라 지을건가요?) Where is this new land? Is it big or small? (이 새 땅은 어디에 있나요? 큰가요? 작은가요?) What does it look like? Are there mountains or valleys? Forests, jungles, deserts, or volcanoes? (어떻게 생겼죠? 산이나 계곡이 있나요? 숲, 정글, 사막, 또는 화산이 있나요?) What kinds of animals live there? What kind of plants? (어떤 종류의 동물이 그곳에 살고 있나요? 그리고 어떤 식물이 있나요?) Example #1: I discovered a new island far to the north where it is cold. It is large for an island. I will name it Pepper Island, after my family. There is one big mountain in the middle of the island. All around the mountain is a forest with big pine trees. Many animals live on this island: squirrels, rabbits, birds, mice, and even some wild pigs; but nothing dangerous like wolves though. There are many plants too, lots of fruit and vegetables. Including my favorite fruits strawberries and blackberries.
